I haven’t done one of these in a while so here are some little facts about George for anyone just getting to know him
- He was born November 1st 1996
- This makes him a 25 year old Scorpio
- He has a sister, he has not mentioned anything else about his siblings
- His pronouns are he/him but he has stated that he doesn’t mind any pronouns being used for him after a fan asked if he was okay with people using they/them for him
- His eyes are dark brown and so is his hair, though Dream insists that his hair is black
- His favourite colour is blue as it is one of the few colours he can see
- His favourite food is sushi
- His favourite drink is apple juice, though we quite often see him with Lipton Peach Ice Tea too
- He lives in a one bedroom flat in London that seems to have some issues such as a hole in his roof which means he has to catch rain in a pan
- His family seemed to really enjoy wildlife when he was younger. His family helped rehabilitate an injured bird and George used to go to the lake to collect little frogs so he could hold them
- For his A Levels, he took Maths, Physics, Chemistry and IT
- He has a first class degree in Computer Science
- He first got Minecraft over a decade ago when the dogs update came out because he wanted to see the dogs
- He was once global elite at CSGO
- His favourite flower is a dandelion because you can blow on them
- He describes himself as an introvert, though many people who have met him has said he’s very open and easy to get along with, he does prefer his own company and dislikes meeting new people
- His personality type is an ISTP-A (Virtuoso). This personality type is described as someone with ‘introverted, observant, thinking and prospecting personality traits’
- At his parents house, he has a cat and a dog, their names are unknown
- The first SMP member that he ever met was Ponk as they have been friends for a very long time
- He does not like to be serious. When asked about his feelings he said he doesn’t like to talk about ‘feelings that matter.’ Dream said George never takes things seriously and refuses to talk about his emotions and Quackity says George doesn’t like to be asked ‘how are you’ because he isn’t used to it
- He has a scar on his eyebrow because when he was younger, he accidentally startled his dad which caused his dad to instinctively throw George off of him, causing him to hit his head on the drawers and he needed stitches
- The reason George’s visa is taking so long is because he is planning to get a permanent visa which will allow him permanent access to the US. He said he doesn’t really see a reason to come back to the UK
- He does not have a sweet tooth and will often feel sick when eating anything sweet
- When trying American food, he said he most preferred the Takis
- His favourite day at school was sports day
- He played a lot of football and was always either field defence or goalie
- He can play bits of multiple instruments including the drums, ukelele, ocarina and recorder
- Fundy and Ponk described George as one of the nicest people they have ever met and Philza described him as ‘wholesome’
- He bought Ponk a Supreme mask, which is the mask we now see on Ponk’s MC skin
- When George was 22(?) he got free Nandos by pretending he had just got his GCSE results. GCSEs are exams you do when you’re 16, so the Nandos worker believed that he was a 16 year old and gave him free chicken
- He knew how to code before he went University so it made things a lot easier for him, he can code in multiple languages but mainly sticks to Java
- He used to make all of the Dream Team’s thumbnails
- He made Dream a finance spreadsheet to help him with his taxes and budgeting
This is all I can remember from the top of my head so yeah
#Ik it seems weird that I remember all of these things off the top of my head#but I’ve been a fan since 2020 rewatching what very little content we have#all of this just stuck#georgenotfound#dream team#dream smp#mcyt

I’m still angry that the bedrock edition, on all ports, has NO subtitles. No closed captioning, nothing. That is an exclusive feature to bedrock.
Especially with the addition of the warden and all the very sound sensitive aspects that came along with the deep dark.
Java players get the ability to see when a warden moves or sniffs or starts to attack. They get the ability to see if they’ve set off a distant sensor. Things that are so vital for this update.
Bedrock players dont have subtitles at all, and somehow this isnt a priority for them to add? Bedrock has been out for ages. Java has had subtitles for ages.
Arguably, with Bedrock platforms being consoles and phones, it’s harder to see or hear things and would need something like subtitles.
But the fact that such a vital accessibility feature is continuously ignored on these ports of the game is absolutely insane, especially with how big of a userbase minecraft has.
Edit: Here’s a link to Minecraft’s feedback posts where users can vote on things that they want looked at or implemented in the game. Please vote here, having basic accessibility is a must. Check the reblogs of this for more info I posted.

"why did you die?"
“I was very sad.”
Singlehandedly probably one of the best things ever from that stream, and that is so much coming from a superb stream.
"Why did you die?" is so reminiscent of a question a child would ask if their parent had died, whether from suicide or other means (in this case, suicide).
It is a question of anger and frustration and pure not understanding. it's the same thing a kid would ask because they don't understand how a person could hurt so much to do that, or how they could leave them.
Fundy was angry and mad because Wilbur left him. he didn't know why he left him, he didn't know or understand why they couldn't do something else, anything else. He didn't know that Wilbur was hurting, he didn't know, and in those moments he didn't care. it's the question from a hurt child.
In that moment, that's what he was. a kid suddenly very alone in the world, knowing that the only person he had just left him, and everyone after would follow suit.
"I was very sad." Is such an... honest answer. It suffices. He doesn't have to say 'i was paranoid, i was depressed, i was tired, i was hopeless'. He said what was true, it weighs just as much as everything else simply because it's a fact not many people knew or picked up on.
Wilbur was honest with his intentions in Pogtopia, but not his feelings. When he was revived, he also made such a point to pretend he hated something just to keep up this sort of image that he never cared and that it hurt him how much he cared. But... that's the point. He was sad, and he was hurt.
Not only is this a punch in the face hearing Wilbur say this, but it's the only real time we've heard him say much of anything about what he felt during Pogtopia (similarly to Tommy and his silence on exile. in my opinion, this felt very similar to 'it was a wiggly time in my life).
But it also fits in line with the previous comparison. It's such a simple explanation that someone may use to explain to someone, like Fundy, who didn't understand why someone would leave them in that way. It's similar to how a family member may explain to a child why their parent is no longer with them.
It's not too detailed or grim, but it's not lying or sugar coating it. It's simple, and true, and an answer that Fundy, all too clearly, understood.
It's even more impactful, gut-wrenching, with the follow up question,
"Why couldn't we walk away? Just you and me?"

[ Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N' Roses plays very loudly in the background ]
Tubbo: OOOH!
Tommy: Here’s what we’re gonna do detective Tubbo!
Tubbo: What’re we gonna do?
Tommy: We’re gonna solve cases! We’re gonna figure out where Shrouds gone. We’re gonna figure out where Dream has gone.
Tubbo: WE’RE GONNA SOLVE ALL THE PROBLEMS
Tommy: This isn’t just a coping mechanism because of the immense amount of trauma I’ve been through!
Tubbo, speaking over Tommy: This is our true purpose!
Tommy: I’m not massively concerned about the location of Wilbur and Dream and the many things that are completely out of my control!
Tubbo: It’s gonna take months, it’s gonna take days!
Tommy: Days!
Tommy: And I promise you Tubbo! This isn’t just another one of those ploys because I’m sad.
Tubbo: No, we’re not compartmentalizing anything!
Tommy: We’re not compartmentalizing, we’re taking this full force!

not prepared for grown ass adults to bully children and teens for the next few days bc of vidcon panels.
there is no cringe. shut the fuck up this is a fandom panel. dumb questions are fine. cosplayers are fine. as long as they’re not asking invasive questions or being rude they are fine, but even if they do those things they dont deserve to be harassed and called names and shit.
this is going to be the first convention and panel for so many people. they’re going to be nervous, they may not think through the best questions. who the hell cares.
just don’t be an asshole to these people

maybe somewhere, things were different. maybe their promises of running away wouldn’t fall through.
context & bonus under cut!
anyway! enjoy a piece from a runaway au (that i may or may not write, who knows).
essentially, tubbo gets a broken van from wilbur, fixes it up, and without telling anyone he takes ranboo, tommy, and michael with him and they run away. somewhere better. they drive past spawn, stop for a wilburger on the way out, and drive off until roads don’t exist, until its just them, dirt, and the woods. good thing tubbo tricked the hunk of metal out to handle it.
they drive for a long time, stopping to get supplies occasionally, but they don’t stop until they find somewhere nice. somewhere far, safe, hidden. home. they stop once they find home.
anyway here’s the drawing with less dramatic lighting if you want to see the details!

https://ccollins.wordpress.com/2008/03/03/a-brief-history-of-xml/
XML is something I suffered through last semester in Fundies. It was a quick introduction to it, and one that was incredibly painful. We had to write Java code that played around with XML structure, and as someone who has never had experience with XML nor Java, the process of completing that assignment was extremely frustrating and very painful. Either way, memories aside, here I meet XML again, and this time I don’t find myself as flustered as I was last year. Although I have quickly been introduced to XML in fundies, they had only explained it as a “markup language” and at that time, I had no idea what that even meant. Previously, I saw no purpose in the existence of XML and the only thing I knew about it was that XMLs had things called “tags” and “attributes”, and that it was something that caused me to feel major degrees of frustration. Now, I realize that XML is a rather verbose markup language that stores structured data and allows that data to be transported around. It is useful for mapping relationships, and it’s great because XML is not only designed to be machine-readable, but also human-readable, although its verbose nature makes it quite hard to humans to read. While we were learning about XML in class, at first I thought XML was a programming language because it had its own specific structure on how to write code, however now, I’m able to tell the difference between a markup language and a programming language. XML does not qualify to be a programming language because it does not perform any algorithms or computations. Instead, it merely organizes, stores, and carries data that can be used by multiple systems and organizations. However, not everything about XMLs are that great. As said by the professor in lecture, XML documents are quite large in size due to its verbose language structure, which can lead to lag in speed and decrease in efficiency. Also, DTDs, which are used to define the structure of an XML, is not a very good schema to use mostly due to its limited ability to express data types. As far as I know, DTDs can only support the text string data type. Therefore, for example, if an attribute is only allowed to contain a date, there is no way to accurately express that. Either way, XMLs are still a widely-used and useful tool for data storing and sharing.

IS BLOG #4
I had a brief introduction of XML when I took Fundies 2 last semester. I was just a quick introduction, and it just incredibly confused me. I had to write Java to play around with XML. However, I am not good at both Java and XML, these two are something that I am not good at. But I could be help to little bit for this week. Even though I don’t play with XML previously, but the words “tags”, “attributes” etc were not strange to me. I had a basic idea that how XML really work.
Now, I realize that XML is a language that stores structured data and allows that data to be transported around. The design of layer of the XML syntax makes things more clear to code and understand. It is very useful for mapping relationships. It unlike Java or Python, XML is not a programing language, it’s a markup language. That’s why it has its own unique structure. XML is extendable. You can create your own tags, or use tags created by others. that use the natural language of your domain, that have the attributes that you need, and that makes sense to you and your users.
In the real world, computer systems and databases contain data in incompatible formats. XML data is stored in plain text format. This provides software and hardware an independent way of storing data. XML also simplifies data transport. One of the most time-consuming challenges for developers is to exchange data between incompatible systems over the internet. Exchanging data as XML greatly reduces this complexity, since the data can be read by different incompatible applications.
A markup language is used to control the presentation of data, like "represent these user names as a bullet list or as a table".
A programming language is used to transform data. It does so by creating CPU instructions that rewrite the input data into the output; hopefully, the desired output. Examples of transforming data is to compute a sum out of a number of addends, or solving a system of differential equations from a set of conditions, or writing and reading from a tree-like structure in a consistent manner given a sequence of possibly simultaneous queries.
DTDs, The purpose of a DTD is to define the legal building blocks of an XML document. It defines the document structure with a list of legal elements. A DTD can be declared inline in your XML document, or as an external reference. In the end, XML is at very wildly-used and useful tool for data storing and sharing.

This week was mainly focused on ontologies and UML. When I saw example ontologies, I immediately thought of the way we represent classes in Java, or really anything with object-oriented design. This unit, in conjunction with what we’re doing right now in Fundies II was a great review for me on the concept of inheritance. I was already familiar with sub- and super-classes, so it was useful context when it was generalized to other information types. Something I didn’t expect was how much depth there is when it comes to defining relationships between entities with the stars, numerical values for multiplicity, and constraints. Aggregation was definitely a new concept to me, but it makes sense that there are so many more specific definitions for models like this that must be used in all sorts of situations. I also appreciate the idea that you make an ontology to meet your needs and answer your questions, no more, no less. I could see how trying to diagram information that you need directly, plus context, plus tangentially information would get messy and indecipherable. I know being required to focus only on the necessary in order for something like this to work properly would definitely help me organize my thoughts and prioritize information. I also used this tutorial from LucidChart to clear up some of my questions https://www.lucidchart.com/pages/uml-class-diagram.

Perbedaan Penggunaan A, An dan The
Perbedaan Penggunaan A, An dan The
Perbedaan Penggunaan A, An dan The
Garut English Club - Dalam bahasa inggris kita sering menemukan dan kadang dibingungkan oleh penggunaan a, an, dan the pada sebuah noun (kata benda) di dalam kalimat. Ketiga kata tersebut disebut dengan article. Bahasa inggris memiliki dua jenis artikel, yaitu definite dan indefinite article. Definate : The Indefinite : A/An
- Let's go to the car. - I have a new car.
Penggunaan A, An dan The
A/An
Artikel "a" digunakan untuk singular noun (kata benda tunggal) yang diawali dengan huruf konsonan, seperti a chain, a shield, a bag, a plan, a computer, etc. Namun, artikel "a" juga digunakan untuk kata benda yang diawali huruf vocal tetapi bunyinya konsonan, seperti a union, a unicorn, etc Artikel "an" digunakan untuk singular noun (kata benda tunggal) yang diawali dengan huruf vokal (a, i, u, e, o), seperti an umbrella, an egg, an apple, etc. Sama halnya dengan artikel "a", ada beberapa kata benda yang diawali dengan huruf konsonan tetapi menggunakan artikel "an" karena bunyinya berupa vocal, seperti an hour, an honest, etc.
The
Artikel "the" digunakan untuk singular noun (kata benda tunggal) yang sudah spesifik dan jelas wujud serta bentuknya. Namun penggunaan artikel "the" memiliki beberapa aturan diantaranya: 1. Jangan gunakan The dalam beberapa sistem Geografi, seperti: - Nama Pulau, misal Bali, Java, Sumatra, etc - Sebagian besar wilayah atau negara, misal Indonesia, China, Canada, etc - Gunung, misal Krakatau, Papandayan, Tangkuban Parahu, etc - Danau, misal Lake Toba, Lake Placid, etc - Benua, misal Africa, Asia, America, etc - Kota, negara atau ibu kota, misal Bandung, Garut, Japan, etc - Teluk, seperti Fundy Bay - Jalan, seperti Papandayan street, Dogwood Cescent, etc 2. Gunakan The pada nama nama berikut: - Laut, Samudera, Sungai, misal The Citarum river, The Atlantic Ocean, etc - Kutub, misal The South Pole - Hutan atau padang pasir, misal The Black Forest - Teluk yang menggunakan kata "bay" diawal kata seperti, The Bay of Fundy - Semenanjung, misal The Arabian Peninsula - Wilayah Geografis, seperti The West Java - Pegunungan, misal The Bukit Barisan
Contoh Kalimat Penggunaan A, An dan The
A/An
- I saw a moonlight tonight. (Aku melihat sebuah sinar bulan malam ini) - Do you have a pen? (Apakah kamu memiliki sebuah pena?) - She gave me an apple yesterday. (Dia memberiku sebuah apel kemarin) - Be an honest boy. (Jadilah anak lelaki yang jujur)
The
- Where is the English class? (Dimana kelas bahasa Inggris?) - Switch the TV off when you're leave. (Matikan TV itu sebelum kamu pergi) - I found the book you were looking for. (Aku menemukan buku yang kamu cari) Demikianlah penjelasan tentang perbedaan penggunaan A, An dan The dalam bahasa Inggris. Semoga bermanfaat. Terimakasih.
